Uncaring that fans already know who Bella chooses, Burger King will let the debate rage on. Visitors to Burger King restaurants will be able show their support for one team or the other by scratching off a panel on a community game. As reported by the New York Times, game participants will become eligible for prizes including “cash, a car, movie tickets and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” Ultimate Experience, which is a screening of the film and a movie set tour”. It was also reported that after the launch of the campaign, there will be opportunities to play online.
Burger King isn’t the only franchise keeping the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate alive. Nordstrom, which also ran a successful promo campaign for “New Moon”, continued to tantalize fans on different sides of the debate with focused “Eclipse” merchandise geared to both.
