Anna Kendrick won't be bringing any beau to the Oscars next Sunday. The Up in the Air star is planning to make the star-studded event a family affair.
The 24-year-old former actress, who pulled double duty in the Twilight Saga, told E! News she's bringing her mom and brother as dates to the glitzy awards show.
"I'm flying them out. I'm so excited," Kendrick said Saturday at Zac Posen's celebration for his new Z Spoke collection in Beverly Hills. "My mom wants to meet George Clooney."
Inside of the private dinner at Mr. Chow alongside the likes of Rachel Bilson, Emma Roberts and Nicky Hilton, Kendrick dished on how she's staying cool until the big day.
While she's trying to relax and enjoy the awards season, Kendrick admitted she's been under more stress than usual. She couldn't even watch the Oscar nomination annoucement.
"I was too nervous to sit and watch the nominations, so I went for a run at five in the morning," Kendrick said. "I just waited for my roommate to text me. And then it was actually really nice because I was sort of alone in the dark. I kind of wanted to shout, but I didn't want to wake everyone up at 5:30 in the morning."
While Kendrick has no problem talking up her Oscar dates, she is keeping mum about her Oscar dress.
"I'm not allowed to talk about what I wear," Kendrick said. "But I'm going to try it on in a few days and it's beautiful. I'm really excited about it. It's a designer that I've worn [before]."
Kendrick said that while having the top-secret gown custom-made from a sketch left her feeling a little like a "human mannequin," she is looking forward to picking out her jewels.
"That's going to be the fun part," Kendrick said. "That's the part where I get to play."

Rob on 3-D Breaking Dawn
Despite the many rumors circulating about “Breaking Dawn,” the final installment in the Twilight saga, it seems as though no progress has been made on the movie’s production in the three months since “New Moon” was released. And while the movie’s stars seem just as clueless about the big production decisions as everyone else, there seems to be a similar trend in their line of thinking.
The biggest question surrounding “Breaking Dawn” — and the first decision that needs to be made in order for contract deals and production to begin — is whether the story will be split into two films. Despite numerous rumors that seem to lean one way or the other, everyone’s opinion seems to depend on the script.
While promoting his upcoming film “Remember Me,” leading man Robert Pattinson said he still doesn’t know whether “Breaking Dawn” will be made as one film or two. As to his preference, Pattinson answered that “it really just depends on the script, either way.”
This echoes his co-star Kristen Stewart’s opinion on the matter, which she offered while promoting “The Runaways” at the Sundance Film Festival in January. “I haven’t seen a script, but I’m not alone in really, really wondering how they’re going to handle that,” she said at the time.
“Twilight Saga” scribe Stephenie Meyer also voiced similar sentiments back in mid-January when there was a rumor that she was against “Breaking Dawn” being two movies. “Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me,” Meyer announced on her Web site. “And everyone I’ve spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way.”
Pattinson also addressed the rumors about “Breaking Dawn” being filmed in 3-D and, as Stewart indicated in an interview for “The Yellow Handkerchief,” was against the idea.
“The 3-D thing confuses me,” Pattinson said. “I haven’t seen ‘Avatar’ or any of these 3-D movie things yet. The idea of it … I remember 3-D movies from when I was a kid, and I can just picture it giving me a headache.”

Taylor Lautner drops Max Steel for Strech Armstrong
According to MTV’s Hollywood Crush, Taylor Lautner drops out of Mattel’s Max Steel for Habro’s Stretch Armstrong.
Sources say it was his “Stretch Armstrong” collaboration with rival toy company Hasbro that was the impetus for Taylor’s departure. According to Vulture, Taylor realized Hasbro was doing a better job with its movie properties than Mattel. To wit, the toy company has leveraged board games Candy Land, Battleship and Risk into high-profile projects and had earlier success with a couple small flicks called “G.I. Joe” and “Transformers.” Added one source, “When you sign up to make a movie with Hasbro, you know it will be in theaters a year later.”

Noel Clarke, who was the recipient of the Orange Rising Star Award in 2009, recently blogged about Kristen Stewart and his experience with her. He was the person who presented Kristen with her BAFTA Award as the previous Orange Rising Star Award Winner always presents it to the present year winner.
In his blog he has some very kind things to say about Kristen and addresses the nasty comments made by various critics on Kristen’s win -
People want Tahar to win, they love A Prophet (I do too, it’s a great movie). People want Carey to win (She is brilliant in An Education, if you like the film or not). People want Jesse to win (He carries Zombieland and is great in everything he does) People want Nick to win, he has a huge following, is british, possibly the best young actor full stop and is gonna go far. And of course people want Kristen to win… But the only difference with her was this… As many people who wanted her to win, there were equally vocal people who absolutely didn’t want her to win. The other nominees didn’t have that animosity against them.
I said nothing. I couldn’t. I wasn’t allowed (and as most people know Nick Hoult is like a little brother I wouldn’t minded if he won. P.S that is not why he was nominated. he is that good) So why does it all bother me? Two reasons.
Firstly: I know how that feels. Last year although loads of people wanted me to win, because my films don’t seem worthy to a lot of vocal people, there were a lot who were saying. “I don’t care who wins as long as it’s not him”.
Even after winning I still have to deal with comments like this.
“Nonetheless, she was very charming when interviewed backstage and told that previous winner Noel Clarke was ‘passing the baton on’ to her. Presumably, this baton represents starring in quite small British films that no-one outside of this soggy island has ever heard of for a relatively small fee, so I guess she has a lot to look forward to”.
From http://www.indiemoviesonline.com/news/2010-bafta-awards-ceremony-220210
That’s just one of the perks of the job! Please do thank these people for me like I know you guys can. ; )
Anyway… Secondly: It’s not fair on her. Life isn’t fair, but her dislike is unfounded. The girl is actually a brilliant actress and people are only hating on her because every piece of great acting work that she has done has been eclipsed by the juggernaut that is twilight… Lets be honest, that’s what it’s really about isn’t it? People not liking her because she stars in those films that do so well and they are not considered worthy by the snobs. Personally, I don’t mind em. They ain’t the godfather, (Neither was AVATAR) but they’re entertaining.
Kristen To Be In Vogue Magazine?
According to Lainey Kristen Stewart will be on the cover of Vogue Magazine near the release of Eclipse -
My sources tell me exclusively that Stewart’s presence at London Fashion Week is no accident. Anna Wintour is there. They are meeting. Similar to how Wintour was with Rachel McAdams, they are working out the details for Stewart’s … VOGUE COVER. Should be dropping around the release of Eclipse. There was some discussion and negotiation around the interview – while Vogue is by no means as dishy as, say, Vanity Fair, they are pushing for more substance in addition to the expected style profile. And Stewart has been reluctant to open up personally. Wintour will try to dictate, Stewart will push back. The tension could lead to an awesome collaboration.

Kristen Interview
Collider has an interview with Kristen Stewart.
She talks about acting, The Runaways and and The Yellow Handkerchief.
Q: Do you not expect Breaking Dawn to tie up your schedule? Will it be two?
KS: That, probably November but I don’t know if it’s going to be one or two.
Q: Why wouldn’t they?
KS: Yeah, sure, that would be a…
Q: Are you contracted for two movies or just one? Maybe they can’t make two.
KS: I don’t know. I don’t know actually. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t want – - the story so completely warrants two films and it would suck to have to – - it would be really disappointing to have to be able to just go, ‘Okay, we have to lose this sequence and this scene and this sequence and this scene.’ So I would like to do two movies but I really, to be perfectly honest, don’t know what they’re going to do.
Q: You made this film before Twilight. Is it hard to think back to that? Would you approach things differently now that you have this international profile?
KS: I guess because I don’t hold the reigns, really I follow, to put it absolutely lamely, my heart, I don’t think I would have made a different – - it would be really a shame if just because I did one movie, and I know it’s four or five or whatever, but it is one story. It’s one project for me. It’s the same character. It’s not like that changes, so if something like that would then affect choices, I don’t have this scheme of how people are going to receive my movies in the order that I do them and why I do scary movies and why I do movies about “disaffected teens,” which I get all the time. They’re just people I really wanted to play. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing. I’m just playing parts that speak to me.
Kristen Reminisces About First 'Twilight' Interview Mentions Rob
“That was the first time you asked me about ‘Twilight’!” Kristen smiled when we caught up last week at the “Handkerchief” junket. “I remember the interview! … You were like ‘So, what’s up with this [movie]?’ ”
Actually, she brought up the film. “The movie is called ‘Twilight,’ ” she said during that January 2008 encounter. “Catherine Hardwicke is directing it in Washington. It’s based on a book that’s pretty popular [among] young adult, high school kids.
“The main character is, like, superhuman,” she said of Edward Cullen. “He’s a vampire, but with really [heightened powers]. He can run faster than a car can drive, and he’s super strong.”
At that point, Stewart added that she would be co-starring with some British actor named Robert Pattinson.
“Was Rob cast? I guess I don’t remember,” she explained. “That’s so weird.”
The result was the first time Kristen had ever spoken in public about the “Twilight” films, and when we ran a Movies Blog item a bit later, the MTV News team was shocked by the post’s record-setting traffic. That, in turn, gave birth to “Twilight” Tuesdays, the cast’s appearances at the MTV Movie Awards, the media picking up on the phenomenon later that year and — well, you know the rest of the story.
Of course, at the time, KStew also got herself in a bit of hot water, saying, “He throws me over his back [in one scene], right before he’s going to tell me that he’s a vampire, and then he runs over the treetops. And we’re going to be in real treetops; we’re not just going to CGI it. We actually get to go up there, and that’s what I’m stoked on.”
Months before the cameras rolled in Portland — and before anyone else was even cast — that simple “treetop” comment was enough to get fans of the “Twilight” books worked into a tizzy. Now, all this time later, those very same fans love the “Twilight” movies and have come to accept Kristen as their Bella. One of the reasons they love the actress is because she has such a playful relationship with them.
“Do we not, like, run up the tree and play around?” Stewart said about the controversy in our recent interview. “You just have to choose your words like crazy [when it comes to 'Twilight'].”

MTV Exclusive: First Look At 'Twilight' Unbound: The Stephenie Meyer Story
It’s no surprise that Bluewater Productions’ comic book biography of “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer sold well — very well, in fact — so it should probably be no surprise that yet another printing of the comic is headed to shelves.
Revealed exclusively to MTV News today, the publisher announced plans for a new, hardcover edition of “Twilight Unbound: The Stephenie Meyer Story,” featuring updated content and a brand new cover image. The edition will hit shelves in May before “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” arrives in theaters, and include post-”New Moon” updates on the cast and, of course, the creator of the “Twilight” books.
Read on for an exclusive first look at the new “Twilight Unbound: The Stephenie Meyer Story” hardcover edition cover, as well as the official text of the publisher’s announcement.

Taylor Lautner signs on for 'Abduction' with Lionsgate
From MTV.COM: Taylor Lautner has been lining up a lot of work lately, landing the lead roles in the big-screen adaptation of the TV show "Max Steel" and the effort to bring the action figure Stretch Armstrong to the big screen. Now he's ready to go missing. Lionsgate has bought the script for the thriller "Abduction" and cast the "Twilight" star as a young man who sees his baby picture on a missing persons Web site.
Lionsgate picked up the project after a week-long bidding war for Shawn Christensen's spec script. Variety reports that the studio paid a sum in the "high six figures" for the script, which the studio will co-produce with Gotham Group, Vertigo Entertainment and Lautner's production company Tailor Made.
Kristen Stewart: Get her BAFTAs beauty look
Twilight star Kristen Stewart looked wonderful in white with rock chick hair and make-up at this year's BAFTAs.
Kristen, winner of The Orange Rising Star Award – as voted for by the public – wore a white strapless Chanel Haute Couture dress teamed with Roger Vivier heels.
We kinda feel the dress is a little grown-up for our favourite teen star, but she still manages to rock the look with her hair and make-up, applied by the Lancôme Pro-team.
Kristen's hair was in its usual undone way and a little longer than the 'shag' hairdo she wears for her new film The Runaways (due out later this year).
Here's how to get Kristen's make-up look:
For a flawless base try Lancôme Photogenic Lumessence Foundation £27.50 and cover blemishes with Lancôme Flash Retouche concealer £22.
For those moody, rock chick eyes, mix Lancôme Colour Design in Strass Black £13 and Ombre Absolute Palette in Intemporel Smokey £32, then finish off with Lancôme Hypnose Onyx mascara £19.50.
To complete the look apply Lancôme Colour Fever Shine in Kinky Toffee £18.50 to lips and top with Lancôme Juicy Tube in Happy Honey £10 (available from April).

Breaking Dawn Inspired Poems
Breaking Dawn Poem
Book 1- Bella
Happiness surrounds the air
As people give me the stare
Watching me in my white gown
In the stairs as I go down
Then I found my truest love
As I came down from above
Suddenly, he’s all I see
I can’t believe he’s for me
He took my hand and I sighe
‘Cause there’s no reason to hide
As I said the binding words
Songs were played by singing birds
“I don’t think I deserve you
But I would always stay true
You couldn’t have given me
The very best gift that’s thee”
Now we’ll never be apart
Because forever can start
An island filled with white sand
Under the moonlight we stand
Book 2- Jacob
I had given everything
In return I gained nothing
Seeing you suffer hurts me
‘Cause I feel the pain of thee
Why do you pick the wrong things?
Now I wander in the wings
I’ll always keep on waiting
Until your heart stops beating
She broke me beyond repair
But I simply just don’t care
Because she is my dearest
And she’ll always be the best
The darkest hour of the moon
And the moment came too soon
I saw her writhing in pain
And I wished I’d be slain
All things changed in a sudden
I was no longer broken
The deepest depths of her eyes
Made me stare and rise
Now she’s the one that holds me
And there’s no one else I se
She’s the answer to my prayers
And I am forever hers
Book 3- Bella
To this new life I awaken
Every part of me was strengthen
Then I saw your face with new eyes
I knew I was in paradise
I’ll start forever with you
And the rest I can live through
No one can take you from me
I’m as strong as they could be
There’s nothing else that could make me smile:
The sight of your face every once in a while
I’d be with you through thick and thin
That’s how deep I have for you within
I’d do everything to keep you
Safe and sound and away from blue
Death can never set us apart
We belong in each other’s heart
Everything’s exactly right
Gone all the pain, the hurts, the fright
It’s over all the moments of waiting
And now forever’s what we’re facing
Eternity stretches for us
And there’s no need for fuss
I have finally reached my goal
Now I’ve proven you have a soul

New Moon
"I knew we were both in mortal danger. Still, in the instant, I felt well. Whole. I Could feel my heart racing in my chest, the blood pulsing hot and fast through my veins again. My lungs filled deep with the sweet scent that came off his skin. It was like there had never been any hole in my chest. I was perfect not healed, but as if there had never been a wound in the first place."
