Kristen Stewart is a huge fan of your platform designs. Earlier this month, she wore a pair of your Marcella heels to her Hollywood Walk of Fame handprint ceremony and she was photographed swapping them out for a pair of checkered Vans. What was going on there?
"She had to take them off. She didn’t want to ruin them, because they were velvet."
Ohhh, we’re glad you cleared that up. So it wasn’t because the shoes were uncomfortable?
"No, no, no. Not at all. She didn’t want to ruin the velvet. I thought she would have gone barefoot, but I guess they had to be in shoes. She didn’t want to put cement feet [in the heels]."

Michelle Trachtenberg Almost Played Bella In Twilight And Almost Worked In Thirteen
Television actress Michelle Trachtenberg says she was almost in the driver's seat of Bella Swan's "Twilight" pickup truck -- alleging that she was tapped to play Kristen Stewart's star-making role in the vampire franchise.
"I've known [director] Catherine Hardwicke since the movie 'Thirteen,' " she told Us Weekly. "I was actually supposed to star in that ["Thirteen], but I was on 'Buffy' at the time."
Trachtenberg cites scheduling conflicts as the reason she didn't get to lurk with Robert Pattinson in the first "Twilight Saga" film, helmed by Hardwicke. But don't worry about Michelle: She's fine with sitting out the billion-dollar franchise.
"I already have 'Buffy,'" she said. "I've already done the vampire thing."
Thank heavens! Not only do we find it graceless when actors cast themselves, it's worse to peck over the almost-were roles. Not only does it detract from the actor who, you know, won the role, but it's seriously unprofessional.
Trachtenberg's hubristic "Twilight" reveal is akin to saying she passed on "Salt" after her satisyfying experience on "Harriet the Spy."
We're perfectly happy with Kristen's take on Bella, and as for Michelle -- give her and the gang our best over at "Gossip Girl."

How would you describe Kristen’s color in Breaking Dawn?
She has auburn brown type of hair. A reddish-brown — so it’s like a chocolatey brown with rich red undertones. How hair colours change, I think that people are really looking to have more warmth in their hair. And I think that it’s [red undertones] much more flattering for every skin tone.
Did Kristen have any input into her color?
“She just wanted to stay really close to Bella… but she was also very open to suggestions.”
How long did it take you to get Rob’s color just right?
“Originally, he was going to try and get away with not coloring his hair. I believe in the first film, that is his natural hair color. He just felt like if I don’t have to do it, let’s not. In general, men’s hair color is very natural looking, so even when you color men’s hair, you want it looking really natural — like a man. [For Breaking Dawn,] it had to be richer tones, more along the lines of Bella so they looked right together.”
]Which character’s color was your favorite to create? Why?
“I loved doing Bella the most because it was really exciting for me — I’d watch all the films and see people’s hair colour change from scene to scene and film to film. As a hair colorist, I’m obsessive about color, and I finally got my hands on it!”
Can you share any hair coloring secrets?
“The basis for everything I do in color is layering, so everybody I did, I was layering color. I also like to seal everything with a gloss. I feel like people at home, if they want to get something they saw in film, go to your hairdresser and get them to give you the shiniest gloss they can give you or go out and buy a gloss that would work with your hair color. It could totally be a clear gloss. If you’ve never colored your hair or if you are 14 and you’re not ready or your mom won’t let you, you can still do a clear gloss.”

Actress Kristen Stewart is on a publicity tour to promote the film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 just, which opened in the U.S. on November 18, 2011. Recently, she was spotted rocking a black and blue strapless dress from Los Angeles-based designer Monique Lhuillier on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The body conscious number highlights one of fall's biggest trends: color blocking.
This isn't the first time that Stewart has worn a Lhuillier design. At the 2010 Academy Awards she donned a custom made strapless gown in midnight blue silk satin organza gown. The dress featured a beautifully sculpted bodice and fitted asymmetrical draped trumpet skirt.
Lhuillier, who majored in fashion design at FIDM, launched her self-titled company in 1996, with a bridal collection. After becoming a top American wedding dress designer, Lhuillier added ready-to-wear and eveningwear in 2001. She has attracted fans such as Kristen Stewart, Drew Barrymore, Hilary Swank, and Katie Holmes. There are Monique Lhuillier salons in Beverly Hills and Minneapolis.
"I didn't know how to cute and sew before I came to FIDM," Lhuillier explains. "When I was a student I was full of dreams and knew I loved clothing, but I was also scared. I was fortunate that I could start my own line and risk it all." In addition to her success in fashion, Lhuillier designs a tabletop collection for Royal Doulton, stationery and fine paper, and a bed, bath, and home collection.

Taylor Lautner (wax figure ) will join Robert Pattinson to Madame Tussauds London in January
Today we threw a celebrity party to mark the 250th birthday of founder, Madame Marie Tussaud when her wax figure (first created in 1842) was joined by some contemporary residents of her legendary attraction.
Her Majesty The Queen, Prime Minister David Cameron, celebrity “Royalty” David and Victoria Beckham, Dame Helen Mirren and Russell Brand joined Madame Tussaud in a party scene and to mark the momentous birthday the attraction also announced a crop of new faces for 2012.
Taylor Lautner– will join his co-star, British actor Robert Pattinson, in the A-List Party at the attraction in January. The American heartthrob was one of the most requested personalities in 2011.
