Yeah. The first day of shooting that I was involved with, Kristen Stewart said, “If you want to sit down with Kim Fowley then I can arrange it.” I said, “That would be great.” So Kristen and Joan Jett and myself and Kim Fowley met at a Denny’s in The Valley. We had dinner together. And Kim brought his albums…not his vinyl albums, but his photo albums and his newspaper clippings and all this stuff and he told, basically, his life story to me from the time he was a child to where he was at sitting across from me at that table. Yeah, it was incredible. It’s kind of a blur. I can’t say I remember a lot about it. He was talking very fast. I know he was sick as a child. But his parents were all right.

But anyway, I had that experience. And I didn’t have that with Richard. But I think it would have been a very different experience. I don’t imagine Klukinsky being very happy to see an actor trying to portray him. I can’t imagine. He would probably take one look at me and think I was a total sissy.

[Laughs] Is it a very different feeling when you are portraying period versus a more modern day piece like Mud?
Yeah, although you always depend on the design elements to inspire you or get you to the right place in your mind. But yeah, I mean I don’t know. Every job is different. I haven’t found any uniformity, really. I mean there’s similarities but there’s not uniformity. Even period pieces, like doing the ‘70s in The Iceman was very different from doing the ‘70s in The Runaways. It wasn’t like just because they were both in the ‘70s they were similar, because the environments were so different and the characters were so different. But doing period work definitely offers you a greater opportunity to escape yourself.
Which is what you look for, I imagine.
Well, yeah. The game is always to disappear as much as possible.

Taylor Lautner compares Grown Ups 2 to Twilight with @totalfilm

“We don’t laugh this much on the Twilight sets”
totalfilm Taylor Lautner talked about  his career gear-shift in Grown Up 2 at the Summer Of Sony press conference in Cancun.

The Twilight hunk admitted that he loved hanging out with Adam Sandler’s comedy superteam for the sequel, and unsurprisingly, it was a more laughter-filled set than he’s used to.

“I loved.  I was very intimidated… But, I mean, it’s why I wanted to do it.  I mean, these guys and Salma [Hayek], they’re the best at what they do and it was a huge learning experience for me.  I mean, it’s an absolute blast.

“The set is unlike anything else I’ve ever been on.  We don’t laugh this much on the Twilight sets.”

Sandler also piped up on the Twihard experience: “We all loved [Lautner] and, you know, just like anybody, we were a little intimidated to meet old Taylor, too, ‘cause the sound he brings with him. Wherever he shows up there’s a giant crowd of high-pitched screaming and happiness.”

“We thought they were protesters for the first two days,” deadpanned co-star David Spade.

Kristen Talks Nicolas Ghesquiere in New Interview with 032c Magazine

German magazine 032c has devoted its cover and 38 pages of its summer issue to former Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière, calling the feature a “monument” to Ghesquière’s final spring 2013 season. It's a hefty tribute indeed: There's a thirteen-page Q&A between the designer and Pierre Alexandre de Looz, a fashion editorial starring Ghesquière muse Charlotte Gainsbourg and styled by Marie Amélie Sauvé, and a meaty story by De Looz about Ghesquière's fifteen-year tenure at the house, bolstered with reverent quotes from major industry figures like Grace Coddington, Eric Wilson, and Hamish Bowles. It's a long read, to say the least, but full of interesting tidbits about Ghesquière's ideas and the history of Balenciaga.

But let's cut to the juicy part: Kristen Stewart, a friend and "ambassador" of Ghesquière's, contributed several F-bomb-laced quotes to the piece. She tells De Looz:

'He is a reminder of how fucking annoying everyone else is. It’s not easy to walk a line that not every single person in the world is going to get in a second. Nicolas is the sort of person who loves swimming in rough water ...

I’ve felt the happiest I’ve ever felt wearing these clothes. I’ve also felt androgynous and rigid. Sort of like you’re wearing a fucking building.'

She also recalls the moment after his final collection for Balenciaga, when he told her he was leaving the house:

'I was like, ‘Dude, are you okay?’ and he was like (in a French accent), ‘Yes. Yes. I will tell you soon, but there are things happening.’ Before I left, he was like, ‘All right, I'll tell you.’ I’m so fucking proud of him because what he was about to do would rock people’s worlds. He was just like, ‘Believe for me.’ I thought it was the coolest fucking thing.'

032c also gave the Cut an exclusive additional quote from Stewart:

'The look on his face after that show, he had this look like he was actually the kid who was being told he wasn't allowed to do something. And he was totally not going to stand for it, and I was like, 'I will totally run away with you.''

And so she has! Balenciaga hasn't explicitly stated whether they'll continue to work with her post-Ghesquière, but their future seems unlikely.

Stewart has yet to appear in any of Alexander Wang's new designs for the label. This article skirts the issue, simply describing her as "an ambassador for the brand’s second new fragrance Flora Botanica."
In fact, for all the feature's thoroughness, it leaves many questions unanswered. Like, what does Ghesquière think of his successor? And for Pete's sake, what is he going to do next? He says he's gotten many offers, but he's coy about his next move:
'Ideally, I’d like to give myself a six-month break, to travel and discover things. I’m not sure it’ll happen because some interesting projects are on the horizon ... Given the projects and the offers I have on the table, the trick is to think about what is most inspiring, what can become a new way of working ... I’m preparing something, but I have choices to make. I will announce something when I am ready.'
With Stewart, Sauvé, Gainsbourg, and the rest of his loyal team onboard, no doubt. Stay tuned.
