Bella & Edward's Prom Scene In 'VancouverSun'

From: VancouverSun
Ah, prom. Films would like us to believe it's a magical night of romance, first kisses and memories that will last forever. From our experience, prom was actually a night of annoying hair styles, girls puking in the bathroom and memories we wish we could forget.

To tell the truth, we wish our real-life experience had been a little more like the new Disney flick, Prom (in theatres today), about a group of idealistic teenagers as they excitedly prepare for the biggest night of their lives (so far). Maybe if our romantic pairings had been more like some of these bigscreen prom dates, we'd have had a better time.

EDWARD AND BELLA (TWILIGHT, 2008)

A pretty dress, an even prettier illuminated gazebo, the prettiest 100-year-old prom date a girl could ask for: Clearly, Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) are living the teenage dream. Except for one thing (and we're not referring to the fact that hairy kid Jacob and his grandpa are watching them both slow dance from the bushes): What does a girl have to do to get a little action? After putting up with hours of soulful staring and that whole business of letting him watch her sleep, a girl expects a little something in return -like, you know, getting turned into a vampire.
