NextMovie Lists Celebrity Twilight Fans!
50 Cent
When 50 Cent decided that he needed new G-Unit recruits, Robert Pattinson’s name made his shortlist. He told MTV, “He has a big enough following to be the frontline. ‘Twilight’ ain’t no joke.” Curtis Jackson is joking. He attended the “New Moon” premiere and admitted on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” that he’s a fan. There was even a minor campaign to get him into “Breaking Dawn.” After all, with as many bullets as 50 Cent has taken, he may be a vampire.
Patrick Kane
19-year old hockey star and Chicago Blackhawks center Patrick Kane likes to put on a tough exterior, but even a celebrity teen can be sold out by his mother. Kane’s mom caught him reading “Breaking Dawn” — and told the press. When asked about it, he laughed, “She would throw me under the bus like that. I watched the first three movies and was really interested … so I decided to read the fourth book.” That’s cool, Kane. Hockey players should enjoy ice-cold vampires.
Barack Obama
I’m not saying the President of the United States sits in the Oval Office Googling R.Pattz and K.Stew gossip when he should be dealing with the national debt, but Obama has admitted to enjoying the “Twilight” books and discussing them with his oldest daughter Malia. You may argue he’s just saying that to appeal to voters. But c’mon, how many Twihards are even old enough to vote? Maybe his term has been disappointing because he’s so obsessed with Male Twi-hard updates on Twitter?

Anna Kendrick Talks About 50/50, Playing A Romantic Role And The Domination Of Twilight
In spite of not being a household name (yet), Anna Kendrick has notched up a diverse and interesting selection of roles in her relatively short career, including Scott Pilgrim’s sharp-witted and slightly scary sister, the very sweet and somewhat out of her depth Natalie in Up in the Air – for which she received an Oscar nomination, as well as putting in the only watchable performances in the entire Twilight saga.
She’s also a massive film fan, and for that reason alone we absolutely love her.
She’s also a massive film fan, and for that reason alone we absolutely love her.
Anna was recently in town to promote 50/50, and we had the opportunity to speak to her about her experiences making the film, her first time as a romantic interest, and how to talk about Twilight without actually talking about Twilight.
On becoming involved with 50/50
I read the script mid-2009, and didn’t hear anything about it I met with Nathan Kahane from Mandate about it, but it was sort of about other things, and you never want to say, ‘I really want to do that movie’. You want to act super cool. Then, out of nowhere, at Christmas they offer it to me and I was really excited. I thought it had disappeared, and then it came back. I was very excited.
Now Seth and Will and Jonathon say, ‘we had her in mind the whole time’, but you never know about that stuff. It wasn’t written for me, no. It’s funny, because I wonder to what degree they were expecting me to do the same performance I did in Up In The Air. At a certain point I felt like that’s exactly what they wanted, and I felt bad because I felt like I was tricking them into offering me a part, and then planning to do something else, but everybody was happy with what I was doing.

On creating the character of Katherine
Somebody had told me, they were misinformed, but they told me that Katherine was based on a real character, and her dad was a therapist, and her heart wasn’t really in it, but she felt like she had to continue the family business, and I met with Jonathan after they’d offered me the part and said, ‘I can’t really reconcile that back story with what’s on the paper’, and he was like, ‘good news. She’s not a real person, so we can do whatever we want’. We tried to come much more from a place of a girl who cares so much, and is so excited to help people that she is sort of getting in her own way a lot – and that was much more exciting for me. So it didn’t feel like what was on paper was changing, but it felt like I was given permission to try something else.

On filming a story based on real experiences
It never felt like pressure, it felt like a relief. If we’d been making a comedy about cancer based on the ideas that popped out of somebody’s head, that would have been really terrifying. Having him as our writer, but then also having him on set all the time, he just kept us honest. There was never a moment where we felt like ‘oh my God, some cancer patient is going to see this, and we’re going to be crucified for it’, because we had a friend sitting in the same room to be our Sherpa.

On her playing a romantic role
My first actually. Which I didn’t realise until we started shooting some of the flirtatious scenes, and particularly the final scene. I was so exhausted and I couldn’t figure out why, it seemed like, these kind of things are really simple, and I mentioned that to Joe, ‘I just realised that this was my first romantic role’. I always play weirdos, so I’ve never had a love interest, and it was great to hear from him, ‘it’s OK. It is a lot harder than it looks’, so it’s not like I’m just sucking. It was difficult to stay charmed for twelve hours, for both of us, I’m sure.

On Twlight
It dominates interviews, because people want to hit whore, as it goes. Is that a thing, hit whoring? So I guess I try to keep my comments boring and minimal, because otherwise it seems like I gave an interview about Twilight. But I know people have to ask about it, because otherwise they get in trouble, so I get it. But it’s tricky to be honest, but also be aware that you don’t want it to dominate everything you try to talk about.

Convincing people to see a film about cancer
Well, it’s tricky. Comedy about cancer, it’s tricky, but I think knowing that it’s a true story, and I think, especially the thing of seeing Seth, essentially playing Seth is fascinating to me. That’s why I would want to see it. [The fact that] Seth was actually the best friend to this guy is bizarre. When has that happened before? I think a movie like this, a lot of it is word of mouth. I know plenty of people that say to my face, which always amazes me, ‘I was thinking about seeing it, but it’s going to be such a downer because it’s a cancer movie’. I think it takes having a friend see it and say that it’s really good and it’s not a sappy cancer movie. Read More: heyuguys.co.uk
ICYMI From huffingtonpost:
Kendrick plays Katherine, a 24-year-old psychotherapy graduate student who is charged with somehow comforting a terse, scared -- and three years her senior -- Adam. Hot on the role from the moment she read the script, Kendrick said she felt a certain empathy with Katherine from the start.
[She] was such a mess. She was so vulnerable and terrified on the inside. I liked that a lot," Kendrick told The Huffington Post in an interview on Monday. "I felt like a lot of people didn't see that, and maybe that's because I projected some of that on to the character, I guess I'll never really know."
"So I think it was great to be able to say, 'I think this is a girl who has great instincts, really listens, all of her friends really came to her for advice, and she will be a good therapist one day,'" Kendrick said, "'but right now she's so nervous and she's trying too hard to say what she's supposed to say and to sound like what she thinks a grownup should sound like, but she's really ineffective.'"

Nick Frost mentions Kristen in new interview
AdelaideNow Nick Frost is having a ball filming his scenes as one of the dwarfs in the big-budget fantasy adventure film Snow White and the Huntsman - a dark new take on the classic tale that Frost says is closer to Saving Private Ryan than the Disney version.
" It's probably one of the best things I've ever done," he says. "All the dwarfs, and Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth literally sit around laughing all day. It's one of those jobs where you think, 'Why are they paying me?' "

Bella's Wedding Gown Might Sell Out Quick
"Twihards are storming bridal boutiques everywhere — just to try on Bella Swan’s gorgeous wedding dress.
The lace-backed gown mirrors the one Carolina Herrera designed for Kristen Stewart to wear during the wedding scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. But the $799 Alfred Angelo replica is causing quite a headache for some bridal consultants.
“We’ve had a ridiculous amount of people calling about the dress,” a rep for R.K. Bridal Boutique in New York City told Celebuzz. “If everyone who has called actually buys the dress, it will be sold out in no time. People are setting up appointments just to try on this dress — and it hasn’t even arrived in most stores yet.”

Vote for Robert Pattinson as Glamour UKs Best Dressed Man
Best Dressed Man
Robert Pattinson
For his fans, he could show up to Twilight premieres wearing a bin bag, so bonus points to Rob for knowing how to mix it up on the red carpet – whether it’s darkly handsome suits with skinny ties or unbuttoned shirts accessorised with sexily dishevelled bedhead. Swoon.

Christopher Heyerdahl Interview With Collider
Check it all out here
Here is an excerpt:
Do you have as much fun playing a member of the Volturi in the Twilight films, as it seems like you do?
HEYERDAHL: Yeah, we do. I suppose it will be on the DVD, but there was a scene that was cut from Breaking Dawn – Pt. 1. We originally book-ended the movie. At the beginning of the film, everyone received their invitation. It was a series of vignettes of the invitations to the wedding because the Volturi, of course, must be invited. Our reaction to the receiving of this lovely little invitation was very camp and great fun. I’ll look forward to seeing that on the DVD. But, they’re a good bunch.

BD Production Designer, Richard Sherman talks about Rob, Kristen, and Taylor
Architectural Digest: What was it like on the set?
RS: Everyone had a good time. The three main actors are all very fun to work with. Kristen is quite serious. Rob and Taylor are a little bit wild. Rob and Kristen are actually a couple in real life. When he’s with her, he’s a little more restrained. When she’s not around, like most guys when their wives or girlfriends aren’t around, he’s a little looser. Taylor’s a kid—he’s 19—so he was bouncing all over the place.

Breaking Dawn Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson talks BD, Rob, and Kristen
MTV Style The most critical element with this movie is, of course, the wedding (*spoiler alert* though, ed note: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT TWICE ALREADY?), and this was misleading in the previews but there’s a dream sequence wedding and a real wedding. How did you delineate the two dresses from each other?
The script gave us a great opportunity to get inside Bella’s thoughts about the impending wedding. There’s a nightmare wedding and her perfect wedding. For the nightmare, we chose something that was a version of the dress that she would hate to wear. Something that’s uncomfortable and a dress Bella would be embarrassed in. It was stiff and had a boned bodice that showed a lot of bare skin which she’d be horrified by because she’s a bit of a tomboy.
There’s nothing very girly about her style so we had a huge, cumbersome, puffy skirt. We just tried to picture everything she’d find difficult to deal with and import that into a dress.
The real dress fit Bella like a second skin and I was really glad about how all that worked out. It reflects her simplicity and elegance. It’s not too girly, I thought it really hit the right note of having some vintage elements while working well for a modern woman.
That dress was stunning. I went to the midnight screening and it was an entire theater filled to the gills with girls sighing in unison. The lace panel in the back with hundreds of covered buttons, we all swooned.
That’s the great thing about Kristen, she has such an amazing physique so we thought the best thing to do was to show that. The dress really reveals curves and highlights each part of her shape but it’s all covered up and so we thought it was sexy but completely elegant.
There was such speculation for a long time about who would design that dress but it was Carolina Herrera all along, right?
Carolina had worked with Stephenie personally for events. And they’d struck up a friendship and dialogue so we talked to Carolina for the dress.
As you do…
[Laughs] Right! As you do… They’d been talking about the day that this dress would hit the big screen for a while and I was happy to help with the design as a consultant because it had to work with the rest of the film. So we needed complementary language getting the same look across.
Edward looked phenomenal in his tuxedo. Details on the boys please!
We put a lot of work into that too because we wanted to have them display a special, made-to-order feel. We didn’t want people to feel like you could just go out and buy them.
Well, there’s nothing off-the-rack about any of this.
[Laughs] No off-the-rack! Never. I drew up my ideal ideas for all the tuxedos. We wanted them to have a vintage feel, that sort of Edwardian turn-of-the-century vibe. Edward says, “I’ve been waiting a hundred years to marry you,” so we thought Alice would have fun riffing off of that.
But at the same time we didn’t want it to look theatrical, we wanted contemporary, young, and fresh. I drew up something that combined the lines of Edwardian formalwear and we made it up in beautiful contemporary Italian wools and gorgeous shirting materials. We had a fantastic collaboration with Brioni. Do you know Brioni, the wonderful Italian tailors?
Uh, seriously? Do I know Brioni? Obvi. Come on Michael…
[Laughs] I’m sorry, of course you do. So I sent my drawings over to the incredible tailors at Brioni in Italy and they sent back these beautiful suits. That was a really fun.
Any other notable companies?
We worked with a number of high-end companies, Belstaff helped us with some of the jackets.
Belstaff? I can’t imagine any of the Cullens wearing Belstaff…
Right! There are two jackets that Jacob wears.
Oh, of course that makes sense.
And the jacket that Kristen wears in the wedding rehearsal scene where she’s wearing street clothes and that’s Belstaff.
Can we get onto a really important topic now? Um. Edward. IN SHORTS. Discuss.
How crazy is that?
Insane! I’d never dreamt that I’d see the back of that man’s knee.
There’s going to be so many inches of journalism written about this.
It’s breaking news. It’s MAJOR.
It’s a challenge to put an Englishman in shorts.
And Robert Pattinson is an Englishman.
They have an instant freakout! I think it has to do with their public school uniforms that they wear as kids.
It’s all charcoal boiled wool.
Completely. Itchy, scratchy… they go, NOOOOOO long pants! We tried all sorts of different lengths but we ended up with a really classic look. My references were the Kennedys on summer vacation. That classic American summer wear. We went crisp with cool natural fibers, nautical navies and whites, trying to capture that classic style. More often than not, we went with a rolled-up chino but we didn’t think we could get away with not doing a short for a Brazilian scorching honeymoon so there you go.
Speaking of textures and shapes, you know what was highly entertaining? Watching Bella arch her back and awkwardly prancing around in lingerie trying to entice Edward in that honeymoon montage.
That was such a fun moment because once you get to know Kristen, just the idea of her slipping into something black and lacy is hilarious. She has a physical aversion to it, she’s definitely your jeans and T-shirt kind of girl. I think she really didn’t find it hard to act those scenes because there’s a lot of Kristen there. And also there’s something so playful about Alice packing her bags and planting those items in her suitcase. It’s so cute.
Tell us who made the negligee and the polka dot number. I’m sure they’ll get sold out in moments I’m sure.
There will be a worldwide search. I believe the negligee was La Perla, the knickers and bra was, do you know Agent Provocateur?
This again?
[Laughs] Of course, you do. They have the sauciest, cutest, frilliest bits of wispy underwear we went in and layered some things together.
But you know, I was thinking about your earlier question of what we made from scratch and we built a lot of the costumes in this movie but B.D. two, it’s SOOOOOOOO huge.

New Rob interview with szonline: Departure from the Twilight World
His early career as Cedric Digorry in the fourth "Harry Potter" movie has long since forgotten, because for millions of fans around the world, Robert Pattinson is just still the charming vampire Edward - and perhaps the biggest heartthrob of the cinema under the sun. Three years after "Twilight - Bis (s) to the dawn" and a few other movies like "Remember Me" or "Water for Elephants," the Briton the immortal lovers, is now playing in "Breaking Dawn - Bis (s) at the end of the night 1 ". It is the fourth and penultimate time the final, already wacky, Finale will follow in November 2012. In an interview Robert Pattinson looks despite his mere 25 years of fairly mellow and cool.
Mr. Pattinson, five films and one long to play the same role - that is a challenge?
The most difficult thing about the "Twilight" movies for me was always, be careful that you had not to repeat itself. Especially when Edward, because the figure is changing so, unlike some of the Bella, not really. He is no more, he does not sweat, he does not cry, he makes himself never dirty. Not so simple that you can not always look the same since.
But is not "Breaking Dawn Part 1" placed special difficulties? After all, there is a wedding and honeymoon.
Yes, it was definitely a new experience, because for the first time Edward and thereby makes everything that follows, by a certain change. I was honestly easier than ever to slip into his skin. It felt more natural, somehow he got a bit more human.
Also because of the much-discussed sex scene?
Sure. While rotating the scene was actually quite straightforward, very easy. Our director Bill Condon has made sure that no one had to feel uncomfortable. Strange was only the pressure of expectation, because we really felt we had under observation before we had begun to turn at all. And even though there was actually a thing that will make most people more or less the same.
Were you on the last day of shooting happy to Edward behind?

Above all, I was stressed out because my last scene was a night shoot, and after only two hours sleep I had then on a press trip for my film "Water for Elephants" go. Kristen and I had a little later but then one last time before the camera, on the beach in the Caribbean. That was a nice final because we were only a small team and were able to say goodbye at dawn and with cocktails in the hands of the "Twilight" world.
Is it over the years actually become easier to deal with the incredible fan-hype?
Some things you take the time to simply as given. But I think all this excitement to this day still completely insane and unnatural. Who ever this hubbub accepted as the normal state, which presumably psychological difficulties. That's why I try to keep the so far as possible from me. As the then everything started, I was emotionally involved much. This made me incredibly tired. After our initial promotional appearances in shopping malls, I always had to then go to bed, I was so broken. Meanwhile, I have more distance and see the public more as a kind of Robert alter ego of the real, private.
What situations are most difficult?
Above all, this is inevitable unpleasant suspicion that one develops. I had to learn to judge within a few moments, whether my opposite to me as a person or concern me as the celebrities. I'm not so cynical or jaded, I just followed me feel and think that everyone is really after me. But be very careful and interpersonal interaction is loose lose all self-evident.
The "Twilight Saga" is now turned off completely in about a year is the final piece in the cinemas. You now have all the freedom-minded, could get involved in London as a theater engagement.
In theory, yes. Although I should wait a little longer so sure. Now, if I was going to the theater, the audience would probably remind you more of a "Twilight" fan convention. And nobody would have it, if every time starts several minutes of shouting, as soon as I enter the stage. That's why I prefer to leave me with something a little more time. Especially since my film anyway more interested in theater.
On your first vampire movie songs were also two of you on the soundtrack. How is it these days, look at your music career?
From music career, you can not really speak. That was with the songs on the soundtrack rather a nice coincidence. But I am still a regular basis and take up the guitar again and again to songs. Who knows, maybe one day I publish some. So far I push those plans but rather a bit ahead of me.
What are next on the program?
The next year will finally be my new film "Bel Ami" with Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas in the cinemas, with which we are really ready for quite a while. And "Cosmopolis," the new film by David Cronenberg, I've also been turned off. But I just vacillate between a few new projects that I could throw myself in early 2012. But nothing is definite.
How about accommodation? Or you do not live more out of a suitcase?
But, I still have no fixed abode and would rather draw from hotel to hotel. I do not feel too old for such a lifestyle, so this is just for my current life situation extremely practical. That all my possessions in three suitcases fit is simple and liberating. The only thing that matters sometimes a bit complicated, is my dog.

Twilight: 5 Lessons Your Business Can Learn From The Movie
"What could the Twilight franchise and Breaking Dawn possibly teach you about business? Quite a bit, actually. With the last installment in the uber-popular Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn, bringing in the big bucks all over the globe, here are a few business lessons you can take away from this very valuable franchise.
1. Don't underestimate the power of a loyal target market: The Twilight saga is a franchise built on enthusiasts. Its core target market (largely teen and tween girls) have bought merchandise, watched each movie multiple times and created substantial buzz that has converted new enthusiasts. It is much easier to market more products and services to your existing customers than to new customers. Twilight has done that brilliantly and in the process the existing customers have themselves brought in new customers to the franchise."

Twilight has done that brilliantly and in the process the existing customers have themselves brought in new customers to the franchise."
2. Have a hook that appeals to your target market (aka don't underestimate the power of cute boys when targeting teen/tween girls): There is something to be said about having a strong hook. In the case of Twilight, it is not really even about the vampires, it is about using some very attractive young men that appeal strongly to the target market (again tween and teen girls). I remember a very successful shoe store in Chicago that employed a similar strategy. They had only really attractive males working there, who flattered every female customer incessantly as they tried on shoes. That store did very well. Once you are solid in knowing your target market, find a strong hook that has a strong appeal to them.
3. Strike while the iron is hot: Twilight has not been shy about exploiting its brand. You can buy action figures, chocolates, cosmetics, clothing and more inspired by the business. The Twilight people know that no business cycle lasts forever, so they are not shy about maximizing their potential while they can. The same goes for your business. Business cycles are shortening, so don't be afraid to make the most of your opportunities while you are hot.
4. If you are successful, there will be imitators: Adding to the pressure of shortening business cycles are imitators that will jump on anything that has been recently successful. Since Twilight started to really take off, there have been numerous vampire-themed brands that have popped up everywhere from television (the CW's Vampire Diaries and HBO's True Blood come to mind) to products and more. This creates competition and the need to continue to differentiate your product and business.
5. Find a Way for 1 Plus 1 to Equal 3: There is a finite end to the Twilight series since it is based on the books. However, for the movies, the last installment (Breaking Dawn) was divided into two installments to maximize the earning power. Is there a way that you can take something very successful and break it into pieces or segments? Can you take products and repackage them? How about taking content and repurposing it? This will give you maximum "bite" from your assets.
While not the first vampire saga, or even the first teen-vampire saga, by a longshot, Twilight has been a standout from a business perspective and surprisingly gives us all some great business lessons to learn from.

Get Bella's Wedding Day Makeup Look
"As far as bridal make-ups go, Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian can hardly compete with Kristen Stewart, best known for her role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga films. In Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment of the five-film franchise, Bella finally marries her vampire boyfriend, Edward Cullen, in what may be the most anticipated wedding of 2011. Make-up artist Stacey Panepinto executed the look, which was a departure from Bella’s previous style. “In all of the movies, Bella has a very natural, almost no make-up look. This was a chance for us to transform her look to something a bit more glamorous while maintaining what was true to the character,” said Panepinto. “I love this look because it’s simple yet elegant.”
