Twilight actress Ashley Greene has revealed that she believes that the forthcoming movie franchise The Hunger Games will enjoy the same success that the Twilight movies have had. Ashley admitted that she thinks a large amount of the Twilight fan base will move over to The Hunger Games, so that they have a new movie franchise to feel passionate about.
Greene explained, “It’s really nice that Twilight is coming to an end and I think a lot of our fans are going to feel that same love and that same passion for The Hunger Games. The fans will have something else to feel that way about. I’m really excited for people to be able to go through what we went through. I’m very excited for that one to come out.”
Ashley Greene is set to appear as Alice Cullen for the final time, when The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is released on November 16, 2012. Meanwhile, The Hunger Games, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, is set to get its franchise underway with the released of their first movie, which is set to hit the big screen on March 23, 2012.
