Two films shot in Rhode Island are getting big screen breaks. Rhode Island film production company Verdi Productions announced earlier this week that its film"Loosies" will premiere January 11th at the at IFC Center in New York City. The film, starring Peter Facinelli (“Twilight,” “Nurse Jackie”) and Jamie Alexander (“Thor”) tells the story of a smooth, handsome NYC pickpocket who becomes the subject of a city-wide investigation while dealing with the ramifications of a one-night stand. “Loosies” also stars William Forsythe (“Boardwalk Empire”, “Inkubus”, “Devil’s Reject”), Michael Madsen, (“Kill Bill”, “Infected”) and Vincent Gallo (“Brown Bunny”). “Loosies” is being released through IFC Films and will soon expand to over 60 million homes on Video on Demand through major US cable distributors, as well as iTunes and the Sundance channel.

I have seen both movies... Two completely different movies with different looks. Both well worth watching. Both shot exclusively with the Canon 5D Mark II. ....' Remarkable '
