The so-called
"mommy porn" book 'Fifty Shades of Grey' is now #1 on the USA Today
best-seller list, after knocking 'The Hunger Games' from the top spot.
It seems that the frenzy over The Hunger Games has died down a bit, at least for now. After slipping from the top spot at the box office, The Hunger Games has also fallen from first place on the USA Today best seller list.
After 16 weeks at #1, The Hunger Games is now ranked fifth on the list -- though its worth noting that the second book in the series, Catching Fire, remains in second place. The third and final book in the trilogy, Mockingjay, is fourth.
The #1 spot is now held by Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James, the so-called "mommy porn" book that got its start as Twilight fan fiction online before the author changed the characters' names and published it as a trilogy. Another of James' books, Fifty Shades Darker, is also in the top five, coming in at third.
