Robert Pattinson confessed to TOPP magazine that he couldn’t possible be anything like Tyler, who he played in Remember Me. Pattinson felt compelled to play Tyler because when he read the script the actor saw that the character was incredibly lost due to his sadness as a result of his brother’s suicide. The fact that the character has the audacity to not care about consequeces, whereas Pattinson does.
“But I can’t live the way he (Tyler) does. I can’t say something completely random because it will haunt me in months afterwards. Because of that, I never try to say anything controversial,” said Robert Pattinson.
Pattinson, who also plays the famous vampire role of Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, has been trying to focus on other movie roles that are far from the vampire book series. However, the hysteria continues to follow him everywhere. Twilight’s third installment, Eclipse, will release in theaters on June 30th 2010!
