New Breaking Dawn Cast Members Announced
This just in from Summit, given the names it looks like we are talking the Brazil scene actors. Also, since they are cited as supporting roles, this would likely be things like island staff at Isle Esme or J. Jenks minions.
It is unlikely that Huelin or Nahuel are in this batch, as they would not typically be cast as “supporting players”:

Melissa to expand on Breaking Dawn
PopCorn Biz talked to Melissa Rosenberg about adapting the Breaking Dawn movies.
Check it all out here.
Here is an excerpt:
The previous movie adaptations of Stephanie Meyer’s vamp-lit juggernaut have gone pretty much by the book, but with the final novel “Breaking Dawn” being broken into two feature films, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells PopcornBiz she’s enjoying a little more leeway to add some fangy flourishes of her own.
“I did actually [get to do that], because we got to fill out the story because we’re doing the next two movies,” said Rosenberg. “So there was room to play and expand on some of the characters that Stephanie introduces. That was a lot of fun.”

Xavier Samuel Interview With The West Australian
“I was in Sydney doing American auditions for a while, just sending these DVDs off, not knowing whose desk they landed on, or if anyone even watched the audition, just sending them off into oblivion,” Samuel says.
“Twilight was just another audition that came along, so I did it as best I could and sent it off and forgot about it. A month or two went by and then I heard it was down to me and four or five other guys, so I got myself on a plane to Vancouver, met the director and it all happened fairly quickly after that.
“It was incredible to be involved in a story of that magnitude that reaches that far and wide, and has a really passionate following.”
As for the fans, Samuel embraces the self-proclaimed Twihard fan base as a phenomenon in itself.
“Often people palm it off as craziness but it’s really a kind of cool thing when people are able to express their enthusiasm in that way.”
For a young actor breaking into the US market, being involved in a film with such a widespread release and enormous publicity as Twilight was a dream gig for Samuel, and he’s appreciative of the opportunities which have presented themselves as a result.
“I was lucky enough to go over to Berlin to shoot a film with Roland Emmerich called Anonymous, which is completely different to the tortured, comic world of The Loved Ones, and the vampiric, dangerous love triangle that is Twilight. This film is a political conspiracy thriller about the authorship of Shakespeare’s plays.”
And from the sounds of it, work opportunities aren’t the only perks Samuel has been enjoying since his role in Twilight – his paparazzi-credibility rating isn’t doing too badly either – snaps of Samuel are booming business, especially now he’s dating Iranian-born former Miss Europe Shermine Shahrivar (condolences to all interested Twihards).
But Samuel shrugs off the idea of being paparazzi fodder.
“It’s a weird thing to be judged on how tight your pants are, not how good an actor you are.”
As for the future, while the lustre of Hollywood beckons, Samuel says he isn’t ready to turn his back on the Australian film industry just yet, and is in negotiations to be involved in another local production.
“I think it’s always important to remain a part of the industry that has supported me in the first place,” he says.
“I guess I’ve been very fortunate in a way, the talent pool in Australia is so deep, and a lot of my actor friends aren’t working, so I have been very lucky that I have had these opportunities come my way.
“I don’t really have any prerequisites or any grand plan – I’d be happy doing shop-front theatre in Melbourne, it doesn’t really bother me as long as I get the opportunity to do what I love and sustain myself, it’s just gravy.”
While it’s unlikely we’ll see him Twilighting again (it’s somewhat difficult to resurrect vampires who have met their untimely death by decapitation), it’s safe to say we will be seeing a lot more of Xavier Samuel on the big screen.

Dakota Fanning In Talks With Summit’s New Film ‘If I Stay’
Summit Entertainment likes to keep its “Twilight” stars in the family. The studio kept Robert Pattinson in the mix with romantic drama “Remember Me” and cut another check to Billy Burke for the upcoming action flick “Drive Angry.” Then there’s Dakota Fanning, who not only starred in the sci-fi “Push” but in the last two “Twilight” flicks as well. And as she gears up for work on “Breaking Dawn,” she just might be staying put with Summit.
The 16-year-old actress is in talks to star in Summit’s “If I Stay,” a supernatural story adapted from Gayle Forman’s young adult novel, according to Variety.
“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke was originally attached to direct the film, with Summit chief Erik Feig saying in 2009, “When we were thinking of the perfect director to capture the emotion, grace and passion of this beautiful book, one filmmaker became the clear and only choice: Catherine Hardwicke.” But now Hardwicke is out — off to direct “Red Riding Hood” with Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman — and Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia is in.
“If I Stay” follows a gifted classical musician named Mia (to be played by Fanning) and her indie rocker boyfriend. Mia and her family suffer a devastating car accident, leaving the young girl trapped between life and death and forced to decide if she has the will to live.

White Twilight Saga Books Are Out
The books came yesterday and there are a couple of noticeable items:
1. They are paperbacks and smaller in dimensions than the USA produced paperbacks.
2. They don’t have any wording on the covers, just the image associated with the book. No title, no author, nothing!
3. The pages are all edged in blood red rather than just the typical paper stock.
4. Only Twilight-Breaking Dawn is available, not Bree Tanner.

Robert Pattinson Is Tipped For An Oscar
For Water For Elephants…
Despite only finishing filming a few months ago, Robert Pattinson’s performance in Water For Elephants could, according to his co-star, land him an Oscar nomination.
Rob’s co-star,Christopher Wlatz who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Inglorious Basterds earlier this year, has heaped high praise on his young co-star.
According to MTV, when asked where he keeps the iconic statue, Christopher replied: “It’s in my house, but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”
We won’t get to see Rob’s performance until April next year and the 24-year-old will have to wait until the following year for possible recognition.

Robert Pattinson Moviefone’s 25 Under 25 Hollywood’s Hottest Young Stars List
Moviefone has released it’s annual 25 Under 25 list, most successful and promising young stars in Hollywood. Our favorite actor is amongst the many listed.
ROBERT PATTINSON
Age: 24
What He’s Done: Nothing really, unless you ask his rabid, undying worldwide audience of fans who would walk across hot coals to see him play vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ saga. Before that, he was known as Cedric Diggory from the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise. He has also tried his hand at more artsy endeavors, playing Salvador Dali in 2008′s ‘Little Ashes’ and a melancholic lover in 2010′s ‘Remember Me.’
What’s Next: Of course, the final ‘Twilight’ movies (‘Breaking Dawn,’ which has been divided into two films) are slated for release in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, he’s also set to play a womanizing Parisian in ‘Bel Ami,’ and a veterinary student who runs away with the circus in ‘Water for Elephants.’
Did You Know?: Pattinson fans know everything about him, so this isn’t revelatory, but Pattinson is a distant relative of Vlad the Impaler, upon whom Bram Stoker’s Dracula character was based.

1. Twilight’s Edward Cullen
Played by: Robert Pattinson
Twilight’s resident Sex God, Robert Pattinson has brought new meaning to the term ‘pale and interesting’. Like all vampires, Edward has a taste for blood, but that’s all too easy to forget when you look at his ripped torso and intense eyes. A thing of beauty…
