While the beauty world is still in the grips of Hunger Games fever with its China Glaze nail collection and dedicated Capitol Couture site, further details on the Benefit Cosmetics kit inspired by upcoming picture Snow White and the Huntsman have been revealed. Makeup and Beauty Blog recently reported that the limited edition Benefit Rare Beauty Kit will retail at $45, arriving online at benefitcosmetics.com April 17 — ahead of the Rupert Sanders-directed action picture’s international release in June.
The movie stars Twilight actress Kristen Stewart as Snow White, and fans will be able to recreate the title character’s aesthetic via the kit, which includes items such as liquid blush and highlighter as well as a booklet with tips and tutorials.
There is no doubt that Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen character will inspire a host of copycat looks too, thanks to her Rapunzel-like braids and smouldering eye make-up.
Movie-inspired beauty lines have been becoming increasingly popular in recent years, with major franchises such as the Twilight saga spawning eponymous cosmetic collections and last year’s Muppets film inspiring a limited-edition OPI nail polish line.
