Before her concert with Jason Mraz in Hartford this weekend, Christina Perri
performed an exclusive Acoustic Cafe for 96.5 TIC’s listeners.
Christina performed three songs… and dropped some big hints about her
future with the Twilightfranchise!
Christina started off her acoustic set with a cover song, “Be My Baby” by The Ronettes,
putting her distinct take on the classic song. Next up was her latest
single “Distance,” but the singer hinted she wouldn’t be performing the
song on stage tonight during her own set… she’s been playing it out as a
duet with Jason Mraz! Christina described the new single, saying “It’s
a song I wrote about not being able to tell someone how you feel about
them.” The tune is certainly packed with all the emotion you’d expect
from that description.
