This past Saturday (4/17/10), actor Ryan Phillippe took on the role as host for “Saturday Night Live.” Among the “MacGruber” star’s skits was his portrayal of “Twilight” sensation Robert Pattinson during Andy Samberg’s “Mort Mort Feingold: Celebrity Accountant for the Stars” sketch (see the full video at nbc.com), in which Rob and Kristen Stewart go to Mort for help on their taxes.
Ryan’s appearance as R-Patz has inspired us to take a look at other Rob/Edward impersonations and let YOU guys vote on your favorite!
Jimmy Fallon in “Robert is Bothered”
“Late Night” host Jimmy Fallon has made it a habit of impersonating Robert by hiding in a tree complaining about everything that annoys him. While portraying the British heartthrob during one sketch, Rob himself appeared alongside Jimmy letting him know just how “bothered” he was by this little routine.
B.J. Novak on “The Office”
Vampires have always been a popular costume choice for Halloween; however when it came time to dress up at Dunder Mifflin, Ryan (B.J. Novak) chose a brooding Edward Cullen over the traditional Count Dracula.
Bill Hader in “SNL” Sketch, “Firelight” With Taylor Swift
Forget Team Edward or Team Jacob, it is all about Team Frankenstein. In November, “Saturday Night Live” aired the digital short, “Firelight” starring Bill Hader as Phillip Frank and Taylor Swift as Stella, and believe us when we say, it put an interesting (and hilarious!) green twist Edward and “Twilight.”
The Ultimate Imposter: Robert Pattinson Himself!
Just like Rob’s alter-ego Edward Cullen, RPattz will now live on forever — at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square. The only flaw this imposter has is the fact that well, he is, well, made of wax!
So which Robert Pattinson impersonation has left you wanting more? Vote for your favorite at MTV!
