The taping of the show took place today in Chicago where Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Dakota were interviewed before an audience full of Twi-hards. A day before this very lucky group of people got to see an unfinished cut of The Twilight Saga Eclipse! Here is what we gather from the fans’ reactions on Twitter:
- The version of Eclipse the audience saw was a rough cut. Some special effects were missing, as were final editing details.
- It seems everyone agrees that this movie is a lot better than the first two. Overall improvements everywhere. Fans are very happy with what they saw, and it wasn’t even the final cut!
- Yes, the leg hitch scene is there and fans say it’s hot, along with other romantic moments. Fans will not be disappointed in this department.
- They really paid attention to details, especially for the engagement scene. Everything you want to see is there.
- We get to see more interaction between Jasper and Alice! And yes, we get to see Jasper riding a horse!
- The whole love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob is great. The tension is bigger than in the previous films.
- Tons of shirtless Jacob.
- Don’t expect to see Youtube videos or pictures; cellphones and cameras were not allowed inside the screening room.
That was last night. Today, the cast taped the show with Oprah, and from fans reactions we gather the following:
- Kristen was very nervous and shy, but overall very smiley and cute.
- They all looked great, as usual. Dressed casual.
- Rob and Taylor said they don’t have any friends.
- Taylor said he likes dorky girls.
- Oprah asked the million dollar question, are Rob and Kristen together? They both dodged the question with jokes about Kristen being pregnant, then Kristen said Rob is the one carrying their child.
- Oprah said she wouldn’t mind carrying Rob’s baby herself. (We knew she’d be dazzled!).
- They made Rob visit random people’s houses in Chicago surprising fans. This video was very funny.
- Lucky audience members got a free certificate for the official Bella engagement ring, an Eclipse poster from Burger King and were interviewed by Us Weekly. This issue hits newstands next week!
- Some fans reported that the cast stayed inside the studio after the show to record a radio show.
- Don’t expect pictures of the show either; cellphones and cameras were not allowed in.
