May 12, 2010 — When New Summit Entertainment used Twitter to announce the details of Twilight Eclipse yesterday, there wasn’t any doubt that the fans were mobilizing to get their tickets for the first days of the release of the movie. Announcing on Tuesday the tickets was the beginning of a big week for the Twilight series.
Announcing the first day people can buy tickets, the tweet was simple and to the point:
‘The Countdown begins! You can pre-order your tickets starting this Friday 5/14 on Fandango and Movie Tickets! Run time is 2:04′
The tweet has been retweeted in the Twitter universe over 100 times just in the last hours and it wouldn’t be surprising if it is tweeted again and again during the week as fans are so very excited about the opportunity to see the movie.
