Box office numbers are in for Tuesday, July 20. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse took in another $2,088,612 from 4,001 locations for a per theater average of $522, representing an increase of 2.6% from Monday. This gives the film a cumulative domestic total of $268,916,972 after 21 days in release. Adding in overseas returns of $288M gives Eclipse a current worldwide total of $556,864,823.
It stays in fourth place behind Inception, Despicable Me, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Toy Story 3rounds out the top five.
For those comparing the films in The Twilight Saga, it should be noted that Eclipse is continuing to outpace New Moon in cumulative domestic totals over time. At this point in its release history (after 21 days) New Moon had taken in $259,360,583. Eclipse is now at $268,916,972. Both films hit the $250M mark on the 16th day.

This gives the film a cumulative domestic total of $266,828,360 after 20 days in release. Adding in overseas returns of $288M gives Eclipse a current worldwide total $554,828,360.
It stays in fourth place behind Inception, Despicable Me, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Toy Story 3 rounds out the top five.
