The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, plus various vampires and werewolves, had its preview screening during a taping of Oprah Winfrey’s television show featuring the three aforementioned stars and Dakota Fanning.
As to be expected, some audience members began tweeting about their impression of the David Slade-directed film. The buzz coming from those Twilight fans has been quite positive — few should be surprised by that — with some placing Eclipse ahead of both Catharine Hardwicke’s Twilight and Chris Weitz’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
The Oprah show featuring Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner, and Fanning will be aired on May 13. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released in the United States on June 30.
Eclipse’s “official” world premiere will apparently take place in Hollywood on June 24, while an “unofficial” screening will be held the same evening at the Los Angeles Film Festival in downtown LA.
