Gold Class Cinemas announces record-setting increase in advance ticket sales for one of the summer’s most anticipated films, “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” Movie-goers continue to make Gold Class Cinemas their ultimate destination to experience blockbuster movies, including “Toy Story 3,” “The A Team” and “Karate Kid.””Summer blockbuster releases like ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ that already have an enormous fan base, provide us with the opportunity to offer those fans a unique experience at Gold Class Cinemas,” said Mark Mulcahy, vice president, marketing, Gold Class Cinemas. “From our specially designed movie menu, which includes a wide range of tantalizing dishes, to allowing fans to vote for their favorite ‘Twilight’ themed dessert, Gold Class Cinemas not only provides a great escape for movie-lovers, but is also offering the ultimate fan experience.”
For the debut of “Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” Gold Class Cinemas is also featuring a special movie menu, designed specifically for Twilighters, including “Volturi Flatbread,” which is a spinach, artichoke, and three cheese pizza dish, and “Vegetarian Stakes with Aioli,” consisting of tempura battered asparagus with roasted tomato aioli. Fans can also decide once and for all the winner in the Edward vs. Jacob competition by voting for their favorite dessert, “Jacob’s Killer Brownie,” which is drizzled with vampire blood berry coulis or “Edward’s Cold Kiss Brownie” with vanilla ice cream, topped with toffee bits and an irresistible combination of caramel and chocolate sauces. More than 950 menu items have been sold already, with “Team Edward” taking the early lead.
As more than 8,500 movie-goers throughout the six Gold Class Cinemas U.S. locations have reserved their tickets for “Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” several of these theatres will host a midnight showing on opening day – June 30 – which is already sold out at the Fairview, TX, location.
