It’s been pretty obvious to most Twilight fans that this year’s San Diego Comic Con (unlike the last two, which included huge panels with the cast and filmmakers from Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon) wouldn’t include anything on the Saga, but Cinematical has confirmed that fact for sure.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’s promotions were in large part carried out via the mid-June press junket and the wealth of cast appearances at the Official Twilight Convention stop in Los Angeles, and at this point the film is already out.
As far as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is concerned, there’ll be plenty of time for next year – especially since production is a few months down the road and things are still in the scripting/casting/location scouting phase at this point.
So, the Twilight series will be taking a break from Comic Con this year. As much guff as the Saga’s fans have gotten about participating in the event, people are probably all around relieved at this fact.
