In preparation for the opening of David Slade‘s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on Wednesday, June 30, Summit Entertainment will be showing Chris Weitz‘s The Twilight Saga: New Moon — “and for a few die-hard cities” — a bonus screening of Catherine Hardwicke‘s Twilight in various US cities on Saturday, June 26. That also happens to be the day when an actual lunar eclipse takes place.
Needless to say, both movies star Robert Pattinson as the vampire Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as the human Bella Swan, and Taylor Lautner as the werewolf Jacob Black.
Daniel Cudmore is expected to attend the Atlanta screening; Tyson Houseman and Jodelle Ferland will show up in Dallas, Michael Welch in Miami; Jackson Rathbone and Bronson Pelletier in Philadelphia; Charlie Bewley and Julia Jones in Salt Lake City; Peter Facinelli and Edi Gathegi in San Diego; Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed in Seattle; Alex Meraz in Washington DC, among other performers in other cities. None of the three principals is listed.
According to Moviefone, “guests will be treated to a premiere red carpet and photo booths, courtesy of Moviefone. Doors open at 6PM local time in each city — attendance will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.”
