Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has soared the box office record in UK with its first release there! Eclipse, the Twilight Saga’s new movie, created a new opening record for the year, according to Screen International on Tuesday.
It took 13.75 million pounds, breaking the previous 2010 record of 10.5 million, set in March by “Alice in Wonderland.”
It knocked last week’s chart-topper “Shrek Forever After” down into second spot, despite the green ogre taking another 4.6 million pounds.
“Predators” was new at three with the story of a group of killers themselves being hunted by aliens. The Jonah Hill and Russell Brand starrer- “Get Him to the Greek,” depicting a story of sex and stardom slipped two places to fourth.
Thriller comedy “Killers” was down at five from three with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl.
Sixth, down two, was “Sex and the City 2,” while “Heartbreaker,” a romantic comedy set in France, slipped a place to seventh.
Whatsoever, Eclipse with its vampire saga starring: Robert Pattinson, Krsiten Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Kellen Lutz, Ashley Greene, Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, seems to have outshined all others! The win of Edward Cullen aka Robert Pattinson over the werewolf- Taylor Lautner in the movie for the lady love- Bella Swan aka Kristen Stewart, a tug of war in Bella’s mind regarding he love, the hot steamy bed scenes have captivated all!
The vampire kingdom dominates the British monarchy as well!
