The Twilight Saga: Eclipse might be days away from what no other Twilight movie has done so far: topping $300 million in the U.S.
The film is currently hovering at $298.8 million, and is still playing in 396 theaters. Last weekend it made over a half million, but the Labor Day holiday helped out with that.
Since September is a bad month for movie-going and Eclipse will have to make room for other new releases, it could go either way. But one thing it can already brag about is beating New Moon, which made $296.6 million by the time it left theaters in March.
